Dimond goby slowly eating chromis

    my thought exactly I told my wife that I really didn't care if the chromis bit it I was actaly doing it a favor by trying to give it a better home then the pet shop but just didn't think it would have ended this way.

    I noticed my yellow watchman go after my brown tangs tail today. I couldent believe my eyes. I did though see the same thing. Dident hurt it just more get out of my space.

    Yep, fish have personalities. Personalitlies vary on the individual, so anything is possible. My blenny would go after both my yellow tailed damsel and blue damsel on a daily basis ;)

    Chromis seem to be very skidish fish, I have 3 and for last 2 days they rarely come from behind the rock...and very dependant upon each other ...I would think that just 1 would cause it to buddy up with anything in the tank...or atleast try to.

    Ive got a chromis with a complete missing tail!!!!!!
    I dont know what happened to him before i got him
    But he is the only chromis in my tank and plays well with
    his tank mates
    I was told when i got him he has been tail less for over 2 years now.
    lol
    I named him Lucky

    Im very sorry for the loss of your Chromis, they're right, be glad it wasnt the goby.
