    Something I didn't know until not long ago, yellow watchman gobies have the ability to transform from make to female. Mine has been slowly making that transition. Here are some pictures to show the current state.

    They change from the typical yellow to a grey/white color indicating female. Anyone else had their YWG change? Any idea what brings on the change? Currently, there is no other YWG in the tank but I do look forward to introducing another male after the upgrade is running.

    I did not know this. Learn something new everyday here! I love YWGs - they're facial expression is classic. I wonder what triggers the change? - especially if there are no other gobies present. hmmmm........
