    one of my buddies who owns Reef Exclusive says he will be bringing me an actual strawberry shortcake in January so i can compare the two to see how close they actually are...

    Have you guys ever seen the Colors in the Sky acro? I hear its a fairly uncommon piece...

    have any large size pictures? I have a small frag of it that i just picked up a month ago and have never seen a full sized colony!

    I read through your thread. You've got a nice set-up. I'm just wondering why, in the full tank shots, your lights seem to look a little weird, or "off", or something. :)

    purple, dark blue, light blue, white and very very small greenish polyps...

    pretty much every color you can think of hahaha

    hmmm sounds nice. I can never find any decent pictures of this coral at a decent size, the frags are always small. I like the Miami Orchid as well.

    What K are you running? I find a 20K is nice with MH and some purple and blue atinics finish it out well.

    haha sorry, that is just an inside joke between the two of us lol... but i only run ushio 14k and/or radium 20k on SE and phoenix 14k on DE... those are THE best bulbs hands down.
    I usually dont run actinics but if i do, i will run KZ fiji purple, ATI blue+ and only very very occasionally normal actinic.
    I also run Cree 465nm LEDs on a 24 hour program that automatically controls their intensity for moonlight or actinic throughout the day/night
