    okay, here are the updates!
fish are good, lost a few to jumping :( but no unexpected deaths recently. The naso is developing streamers very very slowly so i am thinking that it might be male?
Corals are recovering well... apparently this new rubbermaid that I added had quite a few phosphates binded into it and caused some dirty looking algae to spring up in the rubbermaid. DT was completely algae free as always though :) My phosphates were running at about .09 to .12ppm through this but they are back down to .02ppm so my acros are coloring back up!

Today was another NCPARS frag swap so I picked up a few goodies. I pretty much only get from trusted sources anymore where i know their tanks are clean so i dont have to worry about QTing as much:

random chalice i picked up for $20... what a steal

this little gem is deep purple and the PE is INSANE (this was taken 1 minute after acclimation and a dip in revive)

nothing too special, just a blue/purple mille. I got it because when the polyps are out, they are the longest I have ever seen on a mille!!!

I have been after this efflo for 3 years now... and i finally got a little stub of it :D leprechauns beard efflo. Its an exclusive from Sanjay but I believe that he sells them through Live Aquaria

and a little watermelon that I picked up from Jason Fox

Thats it for now, I have one or two pieces in QT too, so pics of them might come if they make it to the DT!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I really like the random chalice, seems like a very good deal.

Congrats on the efflo, nice snag.

As usual the millepora, especially a green/blue is my favorite of the group.

    Hey Dingo,

I do have the same cube and was wondering what did you choosed to light it up? (any picture?)

I have not read all the pages, maybe it is specified earlier in the thread, if it is, sorry for that.

    Thank you

Hello embro! I use a single 250w radium halide to light the display. It is used with a lumenbrite reflector and I have found a nice medium with about 8-9" above the surface.
In the past I have used LED's for supplement and was happy with the vibrant colors produced on my corals. I have since taken them down because it gave the water a slightly "windex" look and I was not really a fan. I would consider adding supplemental LEDs again in the future, but a lesser quantity this time.

I have pictures throughout the thread and I believe there is one on the first few pages of the exact light setup.
