Nice setup, I didn't read through your entire thread so this might be a stupid question...what corals you plan to keep and what type of lights you using?

Just to add my 2cents to your stand, if the tank is sitting on the rim of your stand I would add 8 2x4s to support rim and weight of the tank instead of depending on the screws...easy fix anyway, good luck.

The stand is already fixed ;)
And my lighting is 250w ushio 14k with 12 fully controllable royal blue Cree LEDs that I wrote my own 24 hour program for

Corals will be almost all sps. I will be adding a few of my colonies from my old tank this afternoon so keep an eye out :)

The coris has been with a friend for 2 months and is verrry healthy. eating like a pig
The longnose was very personable in the fish store and actually was very "humanized"

hahaha. OK I was thinking this was all new. But you do have mostly base rock so I guess you wouldn't really have a cycle.:)

Watch out for the Coris. I had spent MANY hours trying to rid my 55g reef of one of those. Killed hermits, shrimp, snails and kicked up sand frequently. I eventually caught him sleeping in the sand and scooped the sand out with the fish. Didn't know what hit him. He was so confused in the bag. LOL! Love the juveniles though. They look like a streamlined clown fish. Cool hawkfish! Personality of those fish is great!
