    ok i must be an embarrassment to all reefers be here is my question do you feed fish and corals with powerheadson on or off.:confused:

    On I just turn the filter off it helps blow the food around

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    When I feed fish I leave them on, when I feed my corals I turn them off for awhile, ( I have a lot of flow ).


    And that is a reasonable question. :)

    I leave mine on.I think its good for the fish to chase down the food(more natural)..my corals catch what the fish dont..

    I have mine on so it blows food to Gman since he never leaves the bottom. I turned them off once but the clowns weren't happy with me.

    yeah i leave mine on as well, especially if you ever feed your tank with cyclopeeze, you want a good bit of flow so it doesnt stick to the top..

    Off while I'm feeding (the flow from the refugium is still on). Once they get through chasing stuff and it starts to settle, I turn on one powerhead. When they get through chasing what gets stirred up, I turn on the other powerhead. Once they get through chasing that, they look at me like I didn't feed them enough LOL. If I target fed the infinitesimal favite frag, I leave the powerheads off until the mouth gets a good hold on something so it doesn't blow out.
