So I did a full 4 day blackout again, just took the plastic off before I went to bed, all lights are still off.

I don't want to get too excited yet but all the rocks looked really clean, cleaner than I've seen them in a long time.

I'm going to start by having my lights ramp up to 25% actinics only over the course of the day and then slowly ramp down, I'll do this for at least a week and then up it to 35% and then 10% each week there after

I'm going to either scrape then siphon or just siphon the back glass, it seems that a lot of the stuff back there has turned white, what I'll do is put some filter floss over a barrel then siphon and tgen put the water back in the tank therefore avoiding a water change, although I'm thinking I need to do a water change soon, its been almost 3 weeks now since my last one

    I'll keep everyone posted

well my xenia aren't too happy right now, I'm hoping that as I ramp up the light they will come around, they aren't completely closed up but they aren't as open as the used to be either, most likely a reaction from no light for 4 days (I just hope there's nothing wrong with the water) I tested it after taking the plastic off and every thing was good with the exception of ph which was down to 8 from 8.4

I still have just my actinics on at 25%(LEDs)
