dinoflagelletes

I have been in this hobby for almost a year and I have no idea what these are and what it looks like. Does anyone have pics and references on them because I can't find any info on it.

Dinoflagellates

 

Dino's are the photosynthetic algae that live in symbiosis with most of our corals, anemones, clams, etc. and feed our corals. Once they enter a coral (called infection), they lose their flagella and can no longer swim.
