    Why are you dipping it? Is there something wrong with it?

    Depending on why you are dipping it....?? Use a iodine bath like Pro Coral Cure

    I have been told that leathers are one of the few corals that you dont really need to dip, as there are not many predators that actually attack them in the wild.

    Oh yeah I remember now. Is it still pouting?

    I'd only use an iodine bath on any coral. Freshwater dips can rupturt cells, especially on LPS and SPS but I don't chance it with my leathers or softies either. So if that's what you want to try it may revitalize your toadstool. It'll surely rid it of any pests that might be irritating it.
    Another you could try is gently rubbing the surface of the head with your finger. If it's shedding this will help remove the dead skin. Just be very gentle.

    If I remember you've already tried different areas of light and flow haven't you?

    I wouldn't bother with a dip. I don't believe that will do anything for it. Sounds like there is something in the tank bothering it like chemical warfare. I posted here with a similiar problem. To prove to myself it was indeed the enviroment I took mine out of the 55 gal. and put it in the Biocube and within 2 days it looked fantastic. Here are a couple pics to illistrate;
