    Well kinda got some news on my little buddy, after the lights were off, he decided to detach suck up alot of water go about to find a new home. got to close to power head and was sucked up to it tor a minute i guess... Hes doing fine now just re cooperating,

    Correct me if I am wrong but isn't 7.6 ph a tad low? I would guess your going to want to bring that up a bit but slowly.

    I though hph is the one that matters, its 8.2, ph is generally for freshwater right?

    Saltwater pH should be kept in the 8.0-8.4 range. Stability is more important than the actual number though. That's not saying a stable 7.6 pH is good, you want to get it higher, don't get me wrong. Remember that the lower the pH is, the more acidic the water will be. FW tanks generally have a lower pH as compared to SW.
