Those of you that are aware of my brown jelly disease, it seems it now has a hold of my abundance of kenya tree, does this disease effect every coral, and is it best to just cut away the effected parts asap, no matter how many there is? is this disease everyones worse nightmare or something...

    Thanks

I don't know if it affects soft corals. I know if affects hard corals. Are you sure it's brown jelly disease?

Hmmm, it may be because i adjusted the powerheads to give my euph's a better flow, since then the kenya trees have shrivelled up and droop, i think they have to much flow, what preventitive measures can i take, i have a beautiful elegance and candy coral, and would hate for them to get infected...alot of the slime floated round the tank when i removed the hammerhead, and now has me worried...

    Thanks

Vacuum and cut out all of the infection and do some big water changes. It usually infects whatever it lands on so make sure to do a water change after stirring it up.
