    Me again :)

I have the Aqualife T5's and wanted to know if my lighting set up is ok.

    8am refugium lights off
    8am Actinics on
    9am daylight on

    5pm daylights off
    8pm actinics off
    8pm moonlights on
    8pm refuguim lights on

    4am moonlights off

    Does this sound about right?

    Thanks

    Looks good to me.

Personally I would drop the runtime of your actinics by 1 hour, and increase your daylights by 1 hour. like this:

    8am refugium lights off
    9am Actinics on
    10am daylight on

    7pm daylights off
    8pm actinics off
    8pm moonlights on
    8pm refuguim lights on

    4am moonlights off

what timer are you using to control actinic and daytime sperately? I have a coralife fixture and a coralife timer and i have it where both actinic and 10k pop on at 8 am, run till 11am then back on at 6pm and run till 11pm for a total of 8 hours. In between my moonlights are on

Unless your fixture has separate power cords and ballasts or built-in timers, your bulbs cannot be controlled separately.

ahhh... see mine has separate cords but are plugged into the timer which only does day or night... can't control them independently

From my understanding you just wanna run your fuge light at night to help balance oxygen levels and pH
