    I 'test' it by watching my fish. If they're up at the service a lot, then I know I don't have enough... if they're not breathing heavy and are acting normal, I know I'm fine...


    So I test by observation.

    Salifert makes an oxygen test. Kind of pricey if I remember right. 6ppm is the maximum and the fish start having respiratory problems at 3ppm.
