    I don't know...*cough*...what you're talking about :D

I'll have you know, I'm not just a potato munchkin with no life. I wasn't home from 8:45 to 10:45 yesterday...I was either learning or being social...or kayaking with my college kayaking club in the pool :)

Just watched it today. I usually love sci-fi, but personally I thought this movie was terrible.
2.5 out of 5 maybe. Was terribly disappointed due to everyone's hype and rave reviews. Had EXCELLENT special effects. Unfortunately that's all it had. Poor story development, poor script, and absolutely crept along until an overly long 40 minute climax that seemed put together simply to take up screen time. Directors and cast did absolutely nothing to make you feel attached to the characters in the story at all. I would say if it becomes available as a watch instantly on netflix maybe go for it, but I wouldn't even waste the envelope for this one.
To me, it was almost exactly the same as the transformers movie with a different plot  :(

Wow Packleader! I can hardly believe you thought this way. I hate spoon fed movies, so that is one reason I liked this movie. It is more about the human condition than anything, added in to a sci fi genre.

I've been hearing that from friends and decided not to see it. Thanks for the review.

This was the only movie I have seen in the theatres in like a year and a half.

I am glad I saw it on the BIG screen as it would not be as good ont he TV, no matter how big of a screen you have.

Packleader, just for reference, did you like M Night Shamalan's "The Village" ?
