i love helping sea creatures with a problems of there owners. but i am a firm believer in this hobby you got to read and keep reading. so many people just jumping in these days blindly. it hurts me to know that so many creatures dying out of ignorance. this is what gives this hobby a bad name. and hats off to a bunch of you who are on it. meaning youve gave the right anwser to them quickly. if i was to reply all i can say is i agree. i love chimeing in on every thing from ASAP to unanswered post. and the unanswered ones is where anyone helping should start. two out of three times there, its over my head or, i dont understand that i cant answer the question. well i am done going on, LOL thanks for reading.

I think you are off the mark on this. Most people come here asking for help from people they have bonded with in some way rather than info from some unknown source.
At the same time, I know that there are people on here who will read a question and run out and google the answer then come on here and answer like they are the king of marine life. I think this is also misleading because the answer isn't coming from that person's experience, rather it is coming from an unknown source which isn't always safe.

Anyone else feel that this thread has become the exact thing it was complaining about to begin with? ;)

:) Well I think 5 pages is enough here. Some good points all the same, but let's move on.
