just FYI.....you will never get an angler from a wholesaler that will eat frozen food. You guys will have to feed it live food and then train it to eat frozen. Anglers do not breed in captivity well due to the fact that they are predator fish and will eat their mates and the off-springs and anything else they can get in their mouths!!! So most if not all anglers are caught from the ocean...so if your store is going to have them you will have to have live food or else should not get them. Ghost shrimp are the best thing to start them off on..just gut load them with HUFA soaked food prior to feeding them! And sorry to say you will never have one that will eat flakes!

They also do not ship well. I will not buy one unless I have seen it in the store for a couple months. The stress of being captured will often times kill the fish.

I had an angler that died within 2 days of me purchasing it. Come to find out...the store had placed 2 anglers in the same tank. When I went to buy mine they could only find 1. I told them mine ate the other one and they said...no, this one is smaller. I said did not matter...should not be put with anyother fish. Well I also should not of bought him then, because an anglers eyes are literally bigger then its stomach and it killed him. He was never able to digest that other fish!

I have ordered fish and other livestock from both Dr fosters and Marine depot I can say I was happy everytime with the packaging and delivery and I would buy from them again online. I only placed orders for livestock in the months of the year that avoided extreme temps hot or cold . The packaging was fantastic from both places and I was pleased with the livestock as well. That divers den has a no arrive alive guarantee though so I guess you are taking more of a chance I mean everthing could be fine and the fish could get stressed and die and you are out of luck.

Maybe you might want to try out one of those Wal-Mart 10 gallon kits as a QT. I think they are $25. That is what I use, and I think the tank and setup is a great value. Just throwing that out there.
