DIY 10g Frag tank

    Someone posted about getting a Deep Blue light fixture a day or two ago. You can ask him what he thinks about the fixture. They looked to be decent quality from what I could tell.

    I have not been extremely impressed with the LED Pendants as of yet. I am curious how much of a difference the Evil Reef one's are compared to what I have. I have however seen some coral growth pics with LEDs. Some are very impressive.

    i was looking at them, i read one if for FO for around $100 and a reef one that was $250 or something crazy. its a 10g frag tank that i dont want to go crazy over haha (kind of hard :p)

    thats why im skeptical. I dont know what to think about them, ive heard good and bad but mostly not worth $120 per bulb

    thats what i have in my LFS but they dont have the timers and what not. i think just 2 switches one for day lights and the other for atinics

    phil i have to see them tomorrow! have the same set up :D

    jon, Deep Blue SolarMax T5 Strip Lights found a whole bunch of models they com in and there cheap IMO and the bulbs would need upgrading

    wow hiltonc57 thanks i have a 20g tank just chilling around maybe when my tank gets bigger i will use it for frags.

    I think everything looks really great...its a good idea for using left over equipment. Have you thought about drilling holes in the pvc to allow flow through? It would help to prevent dead spots. Keep it updated with pics.
