    Hey, if you right click on that last pic and hit view image, you see this green dots on my zoa frag. They look like five mantis shrimp eyes embedded in the rock. Can someone ID these weird things?

    cool just glad its not some killer bubble anemone or something, and also, can i put snails w/ the zoas?

    Well....they are not good in any way, and they will most likely spread, but no they will not kill anything. What ever you do, DO NOT POP THEM or you will have them EVERYWHERE. Also I do not see any reason why you could not put snails in with the zoas. But....IMHO you should not be taking critters from the ocean. You do not have the correct licenses (or do you?) and it is really just not good for the live animals especially if you are not taking the correct procautions.

    here in florida it is legal with fishing lisences as long as you are not taking protected species or ornamentals, that requires a special restricted permit. Also ilegal to take non game species from state or national parks. It is also ilegal to harvest rock unless aquacultured.

    Oh...ok then, just make sure you give the correct care to what ever you are catching ;)
