As suggested i slapped together a Acclimation box (not the prettiest) but should suffice for my newly acquired Chissletooth Wrasse which took a MMA beating when introduced to the tank as you all may remember.

After spending a week or so in my qt tank he is now full re-cooperated and we will be adding him back in the acclimation box. We will keep you posted and thanks to all who contributed.

Very good. What did you use to cut the long slits? What are you using to hang the box? I've been trying to purchase an acclimation box from 4CORAL.COM but appears they're either no longer in business, or they don't answer the phone/emails.

They ARE out of business; don't know why the site is still up. I was just informed of this late last week.

Try the Elite Aquatics one, if you want a pre-made.

Is that silicon reef safe? Something I would double check on, i just read a post the other day of a guy who used bad silicon on baffels and crashed his system. Otherwise I love it, I was think about doing the same thing!

That's disappointing. I actually like the way the box attaches better than the Elite. Not to mention, it's $25 less. I received two Potter's Wrasses in today. One went into the 92, the other into the 150. Because my Christmas wrasse is so aggressive, I purchased the largest cricket container 4-6 weeks ago and made my own acclimation box for the time being. If I hadn't, the Potter's in the 150 would be dead by now. =\
