Could I attach a paperclip to an acrylic rod and feed him with that? I would replace the paperclips each time...
Please help, he is trying to et but my finger make him freak!

Cannot find tongs at any lfs...

See if you can get medical forceps, just rinse them off and dry after each use. The paperclip would work until you get the forceps. Look in the plants section at an online aquarium retailer.

When I had my cuttle I used the kabob stick and it worked well. I could shake it and make it feel like it was live. the 40 lb test line is a good idea also. I have 14in tweasers I use in my 220 for target feeding.

Thanks everyone. Fishing line was the next idea in my mind. I saw the paperclip method at an lfs but wasn't sure it was safe, what with rust and all...Will try fishing line, kebab stick and paperclip. Can I ask why the 40lb test? I have some12 fluocarbon but is that too flexible?
    Thanks guys!
    Am feedin frozen silversides btw

Be careful to dull the end of the kabob stick. I had a fish damage their mouth when they too eagerly jumped onto the stick.

you see the river monsters episode with the snakehead speared that drove the spear after shot into the diver(or at least what the claim was) reminded me of this sorry off topic.

I am feeding a whole silverside 1 every 3 days. Silversides are 2" tops, fish is 3 1/2" is that enough?
