DIY direct feeder?

    has anyone ever attempted to make a DIY baster like thingy...

    to direct feed corals...and maybe shy fish???

    i think people use turkey basters if were talking about the same thing

    You could just use a syringe. I don't think thats too DIY. Do you mean something else?

    no, your in the right area, i have a turkey baster...im just always up using something i built

    I just use a syringe. If I need to cover a large area (coral colony), I have the top 3rd or so cut off of a two liter bottle. That way the phyto or whatever can slowly drift out over the area.

    i found a dropper that used to give kids medicine works well

    I use a big syringe with a length of airline tubing on the end. That way I can direct it exactly where I want it and even feed without getting my hands wet yet again.
