    lol that's the whole reason why i went with the eggcrate as i plan to get a wrasse and goby who are jumpers and don't want to see them dead on the floor

    Hey PC and everyone else,

    I just did the same lid for my 46 gal tonight, lights are on and Im wondering how your doing with yours so far. Seems like alot of the light is bounced back.

    i notice that a little bit of light was lost with the egg crate, but now ive had to put a screen over the egg crate as my fish would be able to jump through the holes of the egg crate so a little bit more light was blocked from that as well.

    But corals seems to be doing fine :D
