So I read a few threads here and watched some videos on Youtube regarding how to make my own frag plugs. (I ordered some frag plugs and a frag rack online, but since it's an international shipment, it's taking way longer than I expected.)

Now I tried creating my own frag plugs, I used white cement + some sand from my fowlr, then mixed it with tap water and viola, I had my own frag plugs.

But my question is.. I've left them to dry for over 24hours now.. What's next? Can I use them already? Do I need to cure them in saltwater first? Is it reef safe already? :-/

You have to cure them until they are no longer spiking your pH. There's a bunch of different methods, however one of the easiest ways to do it is put it in a small containter of saltwater and test your pH every couple of days. If you get a film on the top of the water, do a waterchange.

Put them in a mesh bag in the water tank of your toilet for a month or two. It takes a long time for plugs to cure.
