DIY Hang on refugium

    Hey guys im trying to make a hang on filter into a small refugium...I have everything worked out but im wondering if it would make a difference using unfiltered water directly from the display or using the water filtered by the canister filter...it would cut out an extra appliance plugged in if i used the output from the canister also, so any ideas?

    Unfiltered water for a fuge. You want all the nutrients present in your water to feed the plant life, thus removing the nitrates/phosphates etc.

    There was a thread on here about how to make a HOB fuge. I am thinking it was cuttingras.
