DIY LED Help.

How much is too much for 30" long 20g tank? Where should I start LED wise, I already have my eyes set on ordering from rapid led. But what should I look into getting led count/type. A general guideline or rule of thumb is what I have been looking for.

If you are looking to do an order through Rapid, I would suggest you start looking at the premium 24 LED kit.

 

i agree, the 24 kit is plenty

 

I just finished putting together my AquaStyle 24 LED kit and it is really nice. It is going over a 20L AIO tank.

 

And Rapid is great as far as customer service. Just e-mail and you will get a quick response. Just tell him what you are looking to house (FO, FOWLR, Mixed, etc) and they will assist in picking led colors!

 

Thanks for the good info, I stopped by a local shop today and decided to go with panarama pros, 2 12k strips white strips and a bluestrip , pics to follow.
