So, i'm planning on doing my own DIY LED setup for my 75g. I'm a little confused on the power supply i should use. I'm going to be using LEDs between 3.8 - 4v each and run them in parallel. Do i need a power supply that simply has a 4v output? Or does it need to add up to the # of LEDs i'm going to use?

Here's a ruff pictoral version of the layout i'm thinking of.

One other question, what's the best angle/brightness LED to use for this type of application?

My understanding is i just need a 4v ps and that whole string will get the 4v's. But i def could be wrong.

in parallel you need it to be 4V, in series you would need one that was 4x #of LEDs
