I'm about to purchase an LED kit from Rapid LED. The kit contains the following LED's. This is what they recommended for a 75g mixed reef.

•18 Cool White Cree XP-G LEDs
•20 Royal Blue Cree XT-E LEDs
    •6 Violet UV LEDs
    •2 Red Cree XP-E LEDs
    •2 Green Cree XP-E LEDs

It comes with four drivers and two heat sinks, but I'm a little confused about what combination of LEDs should be connected to each driver. Each driver has a capacity of 8-14 LEDs. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Also, is this a good mixture of colors?

    Thanks!

    1. Do, 20 RB, 10 NW, 8 Violets (No UV), 5 CB, 3 WW, 2 Cyan.
I'm not good with drivers but you could do...
    NW+WW on driver 1
    Violets+cyan driver 2
    CB+6 RB driver 3
The other RB on driver 4

Here is the pattern and colors I've decided on. Any feedback?

The red is "deep" red (660-680nm vs lower 600's nm)
Looks good, I like it :)

I removed two UV LEDs and replaced with white. I also moved the red LEDs towards the center of the heat sink.

I would switch it back, violet (Especially HV, 430nm) are very useful to corals, don't give that blue look, make corals pop, plus the normal ratio of RB to NW is 2:1, you are barely above that (I like that too) and wouldn't go higher, IMO.

Looks good, but replace the greens with cyan. :)
