I'm not saying they ate better I am just saying that I got better results with the aquastyle (they are bridgelux LEDs) ones. I do the same routine on both tanks and use the same salt. Now they are different tanks and different number of LEDs. But I am very happy with my aquastyle kit.

I like that thinking. I will highly press this for my customers. I will still given them the option to go with Aquastyles but will mention all the selling points with rapid. I myself built a rapid for my dt and am very impressed. I am wondering though, if you compare a 24 led build from rapid how many leds would it take to equal it with a Aquastyles kit. I know they are both 3w leds but they are lesser quality

I'll try to push the crees on customers, but after all in the end they choose the product

From a true business standpoint you need to find the items you seek at wholesale cost or you will never make any money. Even if you get the pieces at reduced retail you will need to up your labor charges to make a worthwhile profit. Upped labor means the product you turn out needs to look a lot better than the average DIY project.
Contact Cree directly and see what their requirements are to ship/sell to a business. Maybe they will sell small lots. Do the same with every manufacturer you need to get parts from.
I'm not trying to discourage you. Being an Entrepreneur myself I know how difficult it can be to get your foot in the door and make a name for yourself.
