I am purchasing DIY led for m rapid led. It has 9 drivers. Can I run three drivers per channel on the base unit. For example drivers 1-3 white LEDs on channel 1. 4-6 blue LEDs on channel 2. Then 7-9 reds, violets, etc, on channel 3. I know the base unit has 4 channels v1-v4 but not sure how many drivers can go on channel. I have heard two and three, but not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

I wouldn't think so as the drivers draw a certain voltage and you wouldn;t get enough to them. It would be better to get the attachment giving you more channels

Well said, I would safely say two drivers. Maybe you could do more but not entirely sure. I know the Rapid PWM controller could supply 3 drivers per channel. What I would do is slowly test to make sure you're able to properly dimm/raise your lights. If so you're in the clear.

Thanks. I emailed rapid and they stated they contacted neptune about this type of question. They stated 2. Some users have said they had three so I think I'll do two to stay safe.
