    After spending some hours looking for led lighing already made and seeing how much the units were be sold, at I decieded to try and make one. First off I have no clue what Im doing so thats why im asking for help so any help is greatful. If you think I should just buy already made then thats fine to.

    ok so the best bet is to go with rapidled.com and build yourself.
    For more help I need to know your dimensions

    What type of stuff do I need exactly, im guessing the retrofit and what else.

    1. Purchase one of these kits: Results for DIY Retrofit Kits
    2. Get a heat sink similar to this Results for Heat Sinks
    3. you will need flux-free solder and a soldering gun (can be found at the local home depot) and possibly some small wire if the provided is not long enough

    While soldering keep in mind that you will go from pos on the driver to the pos on the first LED, then from the neg on that LED to the pos on the next LED. After all have been wired, you go from the neg on the last LED to the neg in the driver.
