    Iv read many of randy holmes articles, but im confused wether to use mag. sul. with mag. chloride or just mag chloride?? As randy holmes recomends mixing both when making 3 part but he him self just doses mag chloride to his madeup saltwater (he changes water every day 1%)..... im confused. please help......

    I believe its mixed at a ratio of 5 parts mag chloride to 3 parts mag sulfate.

    Ya I read that a while back and decided to try it, no ill effects that I have seen, getting great growth. You can get mag flakes which is mag chloride off of ebay and mix it with epsom salt (mag sulfate). For a 1 gallon mix, mix 5 cups mag flake to 3 cups epsom salt
