    yeah it dissolves and and makes thousands of little holes all through the rock that's why live rock is used because its a very porous rock and that's what bacteria needs to thrive.

    Very nice! yeah i like the way it still looks natural. Something different to try, if you gotta video ill give this a shot

    Good work, but I don't think you can call it Marshall Island rock when you DIY it. Well, unless you actually made the rock in the Marshall Islands.


    I think it is more like Arkansas rock LOL

    I would love to see how you did that. I have a 150G i'm gonna do an african ciclid tank with and I want to do something similar for the rockwork.

    yeah it just disolves i have been curing the 300 pounds of rock i made for about 2 weeks now can t wait to get it in my new tank and see what it looks like.

    hate to sink your boat but it needs way longer then 2 weeks especially with such big pieces or else it will spike your ph

    I would say minimum 1 and a half months

    well im barely getting any ph change now im really not worried since im already not having much change as soon as it stops completely then i will put them in there are some tricks to making that cure out quicker then what people were doing
