    Their venom/poison (can be secreted) is not a death scentance, but they can be deadly and are best left in the ocean.....check out tonmo.com for alot of expert advise, and prepair to be be harassed and/or bashed for asking anywhere near noob questions.;) Octo's are truly rewarding pets in the right setp with the right sp.

    I sold my last octo and got my blue ring. Unfortunately once I put the blue ring in the tank the crabs that was meant to be fed to it has surround the blue ring. After 1 hour later just the head left. Just pick up another octopus which is bigger. So far it been doing good. Let see how long this will last.

    it's about $55 in nyc. special order if you know the LFS.
