DIY Refugium - What size baffles?

    This is my 40. I can take some new pics as is with all of the equipment in it if you want. I would use three baffles, it gets all my bubbles no reason for a fourth. I believe they are 2 in apart. Since you have an ato I would still make the ruturn section a bit bigger for things like heater, pump for reactor, or other misc bs that we will find you need odwn the road.

    I think my baffles are eleven inches high and my fuge is 12 ish

    I dropped a T from the return 3/4" I think and used a ball valve to regulate flow! Sorry, traveling today, I can take a better pic tomorrow!

    Attached a little 90 to the end to try to circulate flow around the chaeto to "toss it"

    Kwinter and cosmo, thanks for the pics. Makes my DIY project easier now. I pick up the glass for the baffles this weekend. I found someone who is selling 32"x48" sheets of glass for $10 each. They are 1/4" thick. Should be fine right? I think so.
