diy stand question

    Never done it, but why not just lay it on there, then the stand, then full of water it won't move.

    Just some carpenters glue, doesnt need much. One the DT is on it it wont be moving.

    If your tank is only touching in a few spots, then the weight is concentrated in that area and it COULD lead to cracking, breaking, etc. More than likely it would be fine but there's no reason not to go ahead and put a mat under the tank now so you don't have to worry about it later.

    alright, I think i'm going to go get some of that pink Styrofoam from lowes or something, and just put it in the corner that is not sitting with the tank

    another question, I've read that you can put coins between the tank and the stand to even it out. Would this be a good idea?

    pink styrofoam would work for sure though right?

    alright, I'm just going to head to lowe's and buy 1/2 inch styrofoam. I think it's gonna look ugly as hell, but idk we'll see

    That's what I'm using on my 45 cube. You could always put a trim around the stand to hide it.
