    Like somebody said, if all the surfaces on the bottom of the tank arent equally supported then it will cause stress to the glass and seems. Might not have a problem right away but I would bet anything that there will be a big issue at some point.

    My tank stand is still bare bones. I wanted to make sure my DIY sump and all the plumbing was spot on before I enclosed it. Just throw some trim around it and it should look fine. I'm going with a bamboo theme and am cutting a long peice of prob 1" diameter bamboo in half to border the top line where my tank sits.

    Im at lowes, probably gonna grab a piece of plywood, stain it, drill it onto the top of the stand and call it a day lol
