do clownfish ever sleep?

    mine has been swimming around my tank since I got her even after the lights went out and ick went into his cave

    she still is just swimming around maybe shes just exited that she has a big tank again

    I am sure they sleep, or in this case yours will sleep eventually.

    My female lays in the anemonoe, and it kinda grabs onto her and cradels her. But she is always flinching or moving a little. My poor bastard male has to tend to the eggs all night long. lol.

    Im sure they sleep when the lights go down, They normally sleep in anemones caves but mine just likes to sleep hovering over the ceremic media.

    He's abit of an odd clown fish anyway haha

    most fish move when they sleep. If they're not hosting something that will cradle/hold them relatively still they will move around as they sleep. before mine started hosting their frogspawn they would kind of sleep-swim around, occasionally bumping into things, waking up startled, and going back to their usual places and start over. Now they move from head to head in the frogspawn and lay down for a few seconds between moves.

    well today she decided to calm down I guess and is just kinda hovering in one of the caves in my tank

    and yes I did name my royal gramma ick because when I first got him he rubbed against the rocks and got sand on himself and I thought it was ick

    (i didnt buy ick my dad did)
