Chromis ARE Damsels. I think they're pretty harmless, though they could be little jerks like other damsels.

+1. Not all damsel's are mean enough to cause problems. Heck, clowns are damsels :)
Chromis, clowns, blue, and yellow-tailed are usually all ok.

I have had my pair of Blue/Green Chromis for a year and they keep to themselves. They are a schooling fish so I think more that one is better.

I love the color and I have see larger ones and they look cool. I also have a blue/yellow damsel and they all get along.

damsels aren't really territorial unless there are just a few or one is significantly bigger then the rest. i have seven damsels in my tank they all swim right past each other not paying attention to each other. 3 of the damsels are suppose to be very aggressive(sgt major,domino,3 stripe) while they are more aggressive its not so bad that there can only be one per tank.
as far as chromis go they pretty peaceful they are schooling fish after all.

Mine have been a wonderful addition to my tank. Never pay any mind to anything but each other. I started with 5 and now have 2. One had jumped to it's death. They really only seem to care about bugging with each other. The other 2 that were lost were due to bullying by the stronger of the group. In a tank larger than a 55, you will have better results with more than 2.

I haven't seen any aggressiveness in mine. I have 3 in a 55. They just swim around and play, don't bother anybody. Also have a yellow tailed damsel, no real problems from him either.

i wasent gonna send the chromis beacuse he got picked on but i figure if he got bigger he might become mean never had to many problems with him. the damsels where two blue damsels and 1 3 stripe which was rather large and those three where bullys would attack and fish that would come near the bottom left corner of my tank same with the blue damsels but they had a diffrent spot to harrass tank mates. now that i think about the chromis got picked on but he is gone now.....
