i used to have small little pots in my aquarium before i added any fish inside, during the cycle. but now after i added 2 fishes in it i dont see pots anymore, is that good or bad? my friend told me that if you have pots inside your tank that means u're tank is pretty stable already

Pots - You mean Pods Help me - as in copepods and amphipods

yes many fish will eat them and whats more the pods can detect the presence of predators (fish) so tend to hide a lot more when a tank has got fish in

my 5 gallon has no fish and the Pod population it active all day and even more so at night

my other tanks have them, but not as concentrated and if I really want to see them, then I turn the blue lamps on after a couple of hours of darkness and see then scurrying for cover

    Pods are a good sign

Pots on the other hand - I dont have a single fish that has eaten any item of crockery LOL
