My tank is 75 RR with 30 gal sump/freuge 150 reef octopus protein skimmer. I only have 3 fish, 2 false percula clowns and a tiarra anthius. I feed them a reef blend frozen food, 3 times a day. Just last week I got my reef lights, but now I have just a little bit of brown hair algae here and there. Tank is 6 months old and all the rock I made so there is very little coraline on the rocks. Am I overfeeding my fish?

Times a day and portion size are different things. Anthias are generally very active and 3 or even mroe feedings a day are recommended. Normal rule of thumb is what they can eat in 5 minutes. Assuming you are feeding smaller particle foods it also helps to shut off your circulation and give small spot feeding style doses while they eat, not broadcast feed.

agree ^^^ Not an issue unless it's going to waste. Probably more of a phosphate issue, but adding new lights is a big change and your system will take a little time to readjust.

Feeding varies. for the last 30+ years I have fed all my tanks 5-6 times a week, skipping a day here and there and never had any issues with any fish. Many fish have lived past 13 years in my systems and anemones 22 years so I must be doing something right.
I prefer a lighter bioload. I was also taught to consider a fishes stomach to be approximately the size of its eyes so feed accordingly, portions are small, about enough to be eaten in 3-4 minutes.
