Do I have enough Light?

I recently (about 6 months ago) moved into a larger tank. I have a Coralife Aqualight Pro hanging 6 inches above the tank. The tank is a 65 gallon mega flow tank and its dimensions are 36x18X24. The Aqualight consists of a 150W 10000K Metal Halide bulb (approximately 6 months old) and 2 65W Actinic square peg lights (Also 6 months old). The Metal Halide is on for 6 hours a day. The Actinics are on for 9 hours a day (the 6 Hours of MH overlap the time the actinics are on- so a total of 9 hours a day of intense lighting). I have two LED moon lights that are on when the other lights are off.

I have a bunch of soft corals (Devils hand Leather, Zoo's, Sinularia, Cabbage Leaf, mushrooms, green star polyps)

Do I have enough light to support these corals? I am getting good Coraline growth through out the tank, my live rock looks great. By and large the corals look good, though the zoo's have looked better.

Also, Do I have enough light to put in some SPS corals?

I would say you have enough light but I would increase the photo period.

I would slowly over the next couple of weeks increase the MH on time from 6 hour to 9-10 hours and the Actinics to 12 hours

 

okay thanks. Do you think about 1 extra hour per week on each over the next few weeks is gradual enough?
