I'm partial towards Sixline Wrasses because of how much personality and energy they have, not to mention that a Sixline was my first marine fish. I love watching them hunt and peck at the live rock snatching up pods. So I'd say go with one of those. Otherwise take a look at the Foureline Wrasse Four Line Wrasse, Pseudocheilinus tetrataenia, they grow a little smaller and aren't as common, also they have a nice metallic tint to them which doesn't really show in pictures.

I heard the lined wrasses are aggressive towards the same/similar looking fish in tanks unless the tank is very large, have you noticed this at all? Also +1 on the leopard wrasse, awesome looking fish.

The best wrasses are fairy wrasses IMO. Try any of them, they have great personality. I like the Pyle's, Clown Fairies...I think another awesome fish would be a twinspot or peppermint hogfish.

I'm still new to marine livestock....could you explain the goby/pistol pair to me? I assume there's a reason for keeping a goby and a pistol shrimp together? Some kind of relationship between the 2?

leopard wrasse can be hard to keep. they are amazing but I have to agree with thepanfish!
Bellae wrasse(almost impossible to find and $900 for a male!) are amazing and Labout's but the Flame is my favorite!
