do i have too many crabs

They have stressed my Yellow star polyps to death almost.now they wont leave my zoas alone.I have about 15 hermits or so in a 24 gallon.

 

I think a few hermits can be okay, but they are opportunist and can be destructive. Personally, in that sized tank, I wouldn't want more than a few.

 

maybe ill throw some back in my filter system.Keep em handy incase i need a big cuc for something

 

I have 2 lil ones in my 26g-plenty IMO.

 

too many crabs! theres no such thing! no you dont have too many usually you want to add one per gallon. i have 4 in my 5 gallon tank with 3 large turbo snails.
