    You can keep the mandarin if it's eating frozen or prepared foods. If not, then it will starve to death as it's natural food, copepods, will not be able to reproduce fast enough in that size tank to sustain it.

    I agree, get rid of the tang and the mandarin goby, then get a good CUC. Have you had any algae outbreaks?

    AHHHHHHHH Get rid of the mandarin!1!!!!!!!! it will starve in 3 months and also get rid of the tang

    Probably less, unless he had a growing population of copepods before the mandarin.

    unfortunatley the mandarin is probubly to far gone for it to survive the lfs that he got it from probubly isnt much better, atleast thats what happens at most lfs

    Craft Kid before you buy fish research it and find out its requirements. i would even get rid of more fish you have 4 clowns 3 chromis you should have 4 fish at the most unless you have good filtration and a great CUC

    We don't know if it's eating frozen food, it may and in that case is perfectly fine for that sized tank. Also, remember what they say about all caps, it's the online version of yelling, I think he's got it.

    I agree, mandarins probably hardly ever survive because most people that buy it don't know that it only eats copepods.

    well i knew it ate Copepods and i reaserched it but ill get rid of that and keep the firefish and get rid of the tang and ill do a few ater changes....THanks everyone and will the nitrates effect coral or anything?
