do i need a water pump for my reef octopus classic 500?

    does the octopus classic 500 Require a feed pump or plumbed from an overflow to inject water into the skimmer? or does it already come with the pump?

    thanks mate, so they only need the 1 pump to drive them?

    Yes it comes with its own needle wheel pump. You will not have to do anything but plug it in.

    yes, all the skimmers I have ever used, have just had 1 water pump

    the water pump pushes water into the skimmer and carries air in with it Via a venturi device , which is just an airline connected somewhere on either the pump outlets itself or sometimes on the skimmer the air is then mixed with the water and creates the bubbles
    (no air pumps are required )
