You will need about 300 gallons at the minimum for storage of new just in-case saltwater on hand at all times and some stored Freshwater also .. Pumps and a building plan for the entire system.. All the mechanicals should be in place and ready when the tank arrives the stand and for the tank and designed exhaust hood for the lights and to get the heat vented outside. I had a 1400CFM exhaust power vent on mine with a thermostat controller for the heat removal in the summer months. All the wiring and plumbing should be roughed in beore hand also.
A tank this size require's some serious planning .. Where will you be locating the sumps and all the pumps and skimmer and timmers and such ?

Have you bulk ordered salt yet? --- this is going to take a heck of allot.

How about substrate and LR (if you are going to use any)?

Maybe its just easier to get it filled with natural seawater in the begining because mixing 750gallons takes a while.

    Not just 750:

    Tank 750
    Sump 200
    Refugium 90
    Spare (re Tangster) 300

Comes to approx. 1340 gallons by my count.

    "...mixing 750 gallons takes a while..." - a gross understatement. ;)

Ok Dave, time to start posting some pics...

We are all interested in seeing this bad boy getting set up!

This is really the interesting part of seeing a new system put into operation, esp a really large one.

    Don't try and tell us you can't afford a good camera. ;D ;D ;D

I just dumped the buckets in mineand cut the pumps on .. Took took about 6 buckets as I recall .. That was with displacment of the rocks Oh my old buckets where 200 gallon ones not the new 160 I/O salts.. You might want to think about the fill up water
