Ok, so I went into my LFS and they had a single red spot goby so I scooped it up before it was gone. Now I have had him for about 3 hours now and can't find him, so he must be in a really good hiding spot. Should I be expecting him to be the kind of fish that hides all the time or will he come out once he's use to the tank? I know that it will be probably close to a week for him to get use to my tank. Are they the kind of fish that stay out in the open like my clown goby does or do they hide often?

Any information and personal experiences you can give me on this fish will be much helpful! I did as much research on them as I could but there isn't much I could find.

It will stay in the rocks in general with its head out observing things once fully acclimated. Nothing unusual for a fish to hide in the rocks for a day or two until acclimated.
