    I'm pretty sure the black longspine is a "Diadema Urchin" we get them on the reefs here in Florida but they are prohibited to collect, If I'm not mistaken they used to be quite prolific but there was a mass dye of like 97% population a while back. I believe there is an Indo pacific species too.
