Do scallops sting corals

Awesome you got the electric scallop!

 

i don't think they have tongues. it might be his foot that you see. he will anchor himself with it.

 

sure looked like a tounge at least to me, lol i dont know anything about them though, it came from inside its mouth, was white and red and it wiggled it around would stick to some things, brink it in then it would come out, he had it sticking straight up in the air then he would bounce around a little bit, and now seems to have quited down in the position where its at

 

lol. It sounds so interesting & fun to watch.

 

it really was, im mad that it turned around and went into a cave but at least i can still somewhat see and and will more than likely move the flame to the 20 tomorrow.

And i do have a nice new large toadstool that i can enjoy too

 

It's building up a bed for it's self. They'll pile pebbles and small pieces of rubble around themselve until they feel safe.

 

ohh that makes sense then! the flame hasnt really done to much just sits there with its mouth open lol not as exciting as the electric which of course put itself in a cave

 

The red should do the same. Hopefully not pull into a cave though. If theres not adequate flow thru the cave the electric will move out of it. I can't wait to get my flame. I ordered it last week but didn't notice the collectors are on vacation til tomorrow. LOL

 

there should be enough, its in a cave near the front of the tank thats right under the vortech so it deffiently will get a lot of flow where its at, for the electric if i press my face up against the glass im barely able to see it lol, hopeuflly the red will start jumping around soon, if its not happy in the reef ill move it to the 20 to see if it does better in there.

and that deffiently sucks! hopeuflly youll get it early next week
