do tube anemones shed their tube and create a new one

    Mine came out of its tube and it was definitely separated from it...Just don't have much experience with them...

    I believe it actually will form a new one.

    Yes it can leave its tube. It will find a new spot and make a new tube on its own.

    Good news! I found my anemone....It's not in a good spot right now, but I'm going to leave it alone and give it time to construct a new tube.....
